She Glows With The Lonestar

Sparkling Like A Pearl dimly submerged in mother Earth,

That she flickers glorious flames with awe,

The White with undefiled purity of heart,

The Lone Blue Star infallible from her smile,

With the red blood of heroes she cried,

And waves proudly before the meadows of the coast, the beautiful Lonestar!

Within desolation a flag was birthed,

Sewn by seven glorious seamstresses in dim light,

With the Majesty of femininity,

That this cloth shall stand for a Nation,

Though green was her name,

Birthed in lonesome pains!

But she shall be known;

Not for the tragedies that defiled her sovereignty,

Not for the gluttons that crippled her people in captivities,

Not for the tsunami wrought by her foes,

Not for the mischief of her leaders who bring her woes,

But for the name for which she stands

For the heroes the Red represents

For the blood shed in foes’ land

And for the Patriots, she reigns!

The song of the Lonestar,

The pledges of allegiance,

The salutes of Patriots,

The services of her kinsmen,

The forgotten masses of the hinterlands,

For these she shall always stand,

And never forget she bears our names!

Oh, wave proudly the flag of motherland,

Sparkle as Karishma flames,

Unleash the Lonestar from your den,

Wave it before all men

That above the wails and mourns

The frowns and smiles

The thirsts and quench

We will all have Hope to armor her sovereign name, Liberia
