Life at Firestone Rubber Company

As a kid, I did not bother much with the peculiar nature of the Liberia-Firestone relationship. I was mostly concerned with helping my dad meet his quota because I knew failure to do so would mean starving for days and potential loss of his job. Out of everything, what I feared most was not having a place to lay my head, but this took a toll on my dad who was forced to drag his 12-year-old daughter to work although she had school.
