I Did Not Choose my Fate

I did not choose my fate, it chose me. I didn’t decide to follow this path, but it’s the only road I see; for if I had power to change the tides I would, because the pains I have felt are stronger than my endurance.
I didn’t choose my fate, I was born into it. I don’t have the switch to alter how I feel, nor do I control those hormones.
I didn’t choose my fate, my body was biologically sculptured by God the creator; He put all these genetic pieces together; He’s not a fool.
I didn’t choose my fate, please don’t ridicule me. I don’t know how it happened, please don’t kill me; you don’t understand how sometimes I go to sleep cursing myself.
I didn’t choose my fate, therefore, I can’t change it. I accepted it because it’s beyond my understanding—if you too can accept it maybe you will see the beauty it comes with.
I didn’t choose my fate, that’s all I have to say. When the time comes, love will take you to heaven, not hate.
I didn’t choose my fate, but I am unique and special; come closer, you will see that it’s not contagious or dangerous.
I didn’t choose my fate, yet society has made me vulnerable; some of the comments I receive daily make me want to disappear.
I didn’t choose my fate, but I have been labeled as a taboo. Believe me, I am not the cause of the problems of the world. I have caused no havoc to anyone.
I didn’t choose my fate nor am I the cause of coronavirus, HIV and Ebola; Don’t shove me away, blood runs through my veins and my heart beats too.
I didn’t choose my fate, so when I am sick, doctors and nurses please treat me. Don’t abandon me to die just because you hate me. I might not be like you, but I can impact the world too.
I didn’t choose my fate, so if you can’t accept me, just leave me; don’t drain my self confidence, don’t rape me, and don’t make me want to end my life too.
