Wonder why the world is quiet on the  Apartheid going on in Palestine? Let’s see what happened after Humanity asked them to intervene:

 

Humanity: I’m going to ask big countries to help save me against Israel’s atrocities. I hope they can speak against the Apartheid, Ethnic Cleansing, Racism, and Military occupation in Palestine.

 

Humanity: Britain, could you please intervene? In Israel’s quest to create a Jewish state, she has evicted Palestinians from their homes, destroyed properties, and the death toll has moved from bad to worse. I desperately need your help—I’m dying. 

 

Britain: Hm, I am not the right person to help in this matter. I am not ready to take accountability for Slavery, Colonialism, Apartheid and other human rights I have violated, so I have no moral ground to speak against Israel. Also, Israel is the major buyer of our weapons. If we say something, who will then buy our weapons? Zionists are just defending their birth land and it will all end soon, as if it never happened. It was like this a few hundred years ago when we too were dominating the world and now things are back to normal. Anyway, since you have really begged me, I am a little ashamed. I will provide  £33 Million for humanitarian relief. Hope you don’t bother me again on this matter. 

 

Humanity (teary eyed): Ooh, I see! Anyway, not sure though but Paris, could you intervene.

 

France (frowning): Why on earth would I want to help them? In case you don’t get it, I will not account for my part in the Rwandan genocide. Not to mention, we still survive by exploiting poor African nations after exerting colonial rules and slavery on black/brown people. Besides, most of the casualties are Muslims and don’t deserve my breaking diplomatic ties with Israel. Lastly, stop asking us for help against other powerful nations, we only exploit the weak. 

 

Humanity (heartbroken): Everyone is making excuses. There are Palestinians who are not muslims but they too are being oppressed. Even if they were all muslims, shouldn’t I come first? Why can’t they help or even get the media to set the story straight? Anyways, USA, you are the superpower. Please help me?

 

USA (Evil Grin): Are you really serious now—asking me for help? If you knew better, you would realize that I’m Israel’s major donor with over 3 Billion USD annually. Donating to a nation means they get to fulfill all of your hidden and unhidden agenda. So far, I like what I am seeing. Anyway, I feel a little ashamed since you have begged me this much so I will pretend to care and give 300 Million USD in Humanitarian Aid. But, I don’t rely on myself because I haven’t accounted for the atrocities and human rights violations I have committed, especially against Black/Brown people and the people of Afghanistan. Besides, most Israel’s victims are Muslims—who cares!

 

Humanity (Devastated): Even the USA is supporting the oppressor against the oppressed. I won’t give up until Israel stops destroying my last hope. China, you know what’s going on. Please, say something. 

 

China: Please do not put me in a situation I cannot handle. If I must become the next superpower, I cannot randomly speak against big countries. Also, I enjoy oppressing Uyghurs and it would be hypocritical to take drastic actions against Israel for the same ethnic cleansing. 

 

Humanity (paralysed): Nigeria, you are Africa’s superpower. You also have firsthand experience with colonialism and oppression. I trust you can say something. 

 

Nigeria (Rolling her eyes and hissing her teeth): You dey craze. Can’t you see even our own citizens criticize my injustices and even protested to #EndSARS? If I cannot protect my citizens from Boko Haram and other extremist groups, how do I protect Palestinians? I am powerless against the USA, France, and my former colonial Master (Britain). This is beyond me. Stop making me look bad. 

 

Humanity (Dizzy): I have faith in the Arab League. Maybe they can help. As-salamu alaykum (Peace be unto you). Unfortunately, the people of Gaza cannot experience any of this peace if you continue to keep quiet. Please ask Israel to stop apartheid in Palestine. 

 

Egypt: Damn, this is getting very difficult. I first signed the Peace Accords with Israel, hoping to use diplomatic means to stop the attacks on Gaza. I also called for a peace negotiation between Israel and Al Hamas, but Israel refused to respond. I will keep trying but I cannot openly criticize because we cannot afford to offend Israel and her Allies. 

 

Humanity (not wanting to push further): Maybe I can talk to Saudi Arabia

 

Saudi Arabia: Oh God, not me again. Why does everyone expect me to say something? I’m just the same as the USA, France, and Britain in human rights violations. How can I speak against Israel while destroying lives and properties in Yemen? I was planning to recognize Israel so maybe they can stop attacking Gaza but it didn’t work. Now. my hands are tied. 

 

Humanity: UAE, I guess you’re going to say the same as other Arab nations, right? 

 

UAE: Not exactly…. Damn, Israel, you’re pushing your limits and making this very difficult for us. Along with Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco, we all joined the Abraham Peace Accords with Israel, hoping we could lure Israel to stop the attack on Palestine. But now, they won’t even listen to us. Our governments are now divided with some wanting to maintain diplomatic ties while others have become aggressively Pro-Palestine. With the increased bombing of Gaza, many of our citizens joined Lebanon, Tunisia, Iraq, and Turkey to protest and stand with Palestinian rights against Israel’s occupation  -we all think it is cruel and unjust. 

 

Humanity: Okay, maybe I still have little hope left. I can also rally for support from smaller countries whose citizens can post on social media and keep voicing out the injustices. Most of them have experienced colonialism and exploitation, so they might help.

 

Global Majority (Hisses teeth and rolls eyes): Not a good idea. We stand with Israel. Most of the victims in Palestine seem to be Muslims — we hate Muslims. Screw humanity, we’re talking about Muslim lives which does not matter. Please, leave us so we can discuss something more relevant. 

 

Humanity is left speechless, brokenhearted, and shivering out of fear before collapsing on the ground out of devastation. Who is going to save our injured Humanity?
