William P. Anderson studied Civil Engineering at the Stella Maris Polytechnic. William also pursued further studies in Hydro Power Plants Operations and Maintenance Routine in Zambia at the Kafue Gorge Regional Training Center. Among many others, he is the founder of the Practical Kids Preschool, an early childhood development Institution.
Dounard has a B.Sc in international law and diplomacy from Babcock University, Nigeria and a masters of law (LLM) in international maritime law from Swansea University, UK. He has work experience in communications and worked for a couple of NGOs. Dounard is also a writer, poet, and spoken word artist. As a feminist, he believes in making a difference through his love for art.
Randell lives and works in Liberia. In a quest to give back to Liberia, Randell relocated from the U.S to Liberia in 2015. Randell earned a Masters in Higher Education and Leadership from Northeastern University. She is an educator by profession and a passionate storyteller online.
Valdemar Reeves was born and raised in Monrovia, Liberia. He recently graduated with a BSC in Economics and Business Administration from Edinboro University Pennsylvania. Valdemar plans to pursue an MBA in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship with goals of launching his own Non-profit Organization in Liberia.
girlchild is the pseudonym for a feminist who is aggrieved by the pervasive nature of misogyny in Liberia. Having lived in a patriarchal society, and experiencing first hand the harms caused by the social construct of gender roles, girlchild values gender equality, individuality and economic independence.
Beulah Nimene, a writer and poet, is a freshman student at the Cuttington University reading Economics and Management. She currently holds the title of most eloquent speaker of the Liberia National High School Debate Tournament and she presently volunteers with Youth for Change( organizers of the Liberia National High School Debate Tournament). She is also the founder and co host of Youth and Society (shows on Light TV Satcom) as well as a member of team Liberia.
Darcess is a graduate of the J.J.Roberts United Methodist School (2012 Valedictorian). He is currently a sophomore student at the University of Liberia where he studies Geology. Darcess is very passionate about writing and the expression of diverse ideas. As an active member of the Liberian Poet Society and an affiliate member of the Liberian Association of Writers, he uses writing to inspire and motivate his peers.
Shazo is a college working towards his professional educator degree. He is also an ASHOKA fellow and the co-founder of a charity organization. In addition to being a student, Shazo works part-time as a teacher and a project coordinator at Lupec, LLC. Writing has been the means of cajoling people out of depression and as he uses his words to positively elevate the minds of people, especially Liberians.
Fanoraine Dohr studied Sociology, Criminal Justice and Political Science at Temple University. She is interested in youth education, gender equality, and international politics. She is also a writer and a self-taught fashion designer.
