Beautiful, Her Falls

The pillars of West Africa highest

St. John falls relieves me of breath

Like raindrops to a barren valley

They kept me bested

Within her blessed falls

Fragrance of delight refreshes me in her mists.

The tropical, evergreen forest

How can I forget?

Her skin of gold

Clear and pure

Lures me to gems untold

Each time a life on this soil unfolds

A family of peaceful souls.
