Liberia Future Story

There lived a girl named Angel Richardson. She lived in Gbarnga, Bong County. She grew up in a poor family, with so much love for Liberia. Angel shines brightly in school like the brightest Star in the sky. At age twelve (12), Angel wished to become the second female president of Liberia. She told people about her ambition. They laughed at her and told her that a female will never become president in Liberia again. Some told her that she was mad and she should stop dreaming about things that will never happen. This made Angel Richardson sad. Angel felt sad whenever she heard people saying negative things about Liberia.

Angel studied harder and obtained a scholarship at Oxford university in London. She studied more than ever before. During her graduation, she graduated with a 5.4 GPA, the highest honor in the existence of the school. She was the first African and Liberian to be the dux of the entire university in the whole History of the school. She was offered a first class job by the United Kingdom government. Angel did not accept the job, she told the governor that her aim and objective was to learn and go back to impart her knowledge in Liberia. She asked them to help develop Liberia on her behalf.

When Angel arrived in Liberia, she was shocked. Things had become worse. The streets were dirty; there was a high percentage of uneducated people, 99% of the youth were drug victims, 90% of girls were teenage mothers. The government officers were more corrupt. Angel was so sad, she lay down and started crying. Oh, God! What happened to my country? Why did this happen? Will Liberia continue to remain like this? Our economy is dying. Please help US, God! We are the oldest country in West Africa. We lack development, education and we are poor. I need to do something about this!

Angel thought of something. She decided to send some less fortunate children to school. Human trafficking had increased. Angel was angry and disappointed, foreigners insulted Liberia, they ill treated Liberians and took them as slaves in their own country. They exploited teenagers to use them as sex dolls, the govrnment did nothing about this. The security system was damaged, many people were killed and found dead on the street. The education system was damaged, schools did not provide school material for the required courses, they slept with students before they passed them, took money for grade, etc.

Angel decided to speak against the wrongs in the country, some government officers paid some men to beat Angel to death; they beat her up but she managed to escape. She sustained major injuries, her family advised her to stop, but she refused. She told them that a good citizen sacrifices everything to protect and defend their country. After she got treated, she organized a group and they staged a peaceful protest to speak against:

>corruption

>poor agriculture center

>Bad health system

>Bad Education system

>Lack of industries

>Bad security center

>etc.

Some called her trouble maker, they sent her to jail. Some good citizens continued her work while she was in jail. This made the govrnment more furious, they said, “We’ll silence her for good, they paid some men in prison to beat her and rape her. She was rescued by Melvin N. Sarkorh, who took her to the hospital; she got treated and was released from jail.

After many years of conflict, at age 53 she was released. During her inauguration she told Liberians that “No matter what, they should defend and protect their country to the death.” She told them that “It is good to dream but without goals, they are just dreams “. She told them that “dreams that don’t scare you ain’t big enough”. Look around you today and see the Future Liberia as paradise on earth.

During her reign Liberia was known as paradise on earth, the superpower country in the World. There were many changes:

>Good road connection

>Good Health Systems

>99% of the population were employed

> Good education systems

>Good internet services

>There was gender equality

>There was no corruption

Liberia was free and fair. Liberia was truly a paradise on Earth. People from all nations came to Liberia for goods, jobs, food and treatment. They described Liberia as a country with golden streets, citizens like Angels. Liberia shined as the brightest sun in the sky. Angel Richardson was so excited after she had accomplished her achievements. She got old and died happy because her dreams had come true.

Liberia, a paradise on Earth!

The End!
