Hey Liberian people, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Sleepless in Monrovia, in collaboration with Seek Shoutout, is putting a total of $225 USD up for grabs!
To win, follow the instructions below:
1. A Liberia, or a group of Liberians, living in Liberia is/are to write and submit a piece to our email [@sleeplessinmonrovia@gmail.com] on the following topic: “Liberian Loving – your experience with any form of love in Liberia or with a Liberian. This could be loving a romantic partner, a family member or a friend.” The deadline to submit the piece is January 30, 2021. We will announce the winner on February 14, 2021.
2. Writing format: an opinion piece, a poem, a short story, and/or any form of creative writing.
3. Guidelines: maximum 800 words per piece, ensure grammatical accuracy, and let your creativity flow!
Prizes:
1. The first-place winner will win $100 USD, get published on SiM’s website, and get posted on our social media platforms.
2. The second place winner will win $75 USD, get published on SiM’s website, and get posted on our social media platforms.
