Hey, I’m suicidal..Funny right?

I know I’m not supposed to be saying this or feeling this way but I can’t help it.

People say suicide is never an option and it doesn’t ease the pain – but have you ever been hurt?

Like hurt so badly that your heart aches and your mind is blinded by the pain?

Have you ever had so much to say and no one to listen?

I know I shouldn’t be feeling this way but I can’t pull myself out of this darkness,I might just allow myself to get lost in it.

It’s sad how I say these things but all I ever seek is peace and I hope to find it in another world.

Deep within myself I know I’m a warrior, a strong woman worth saving.

In my heart, I’ve believed like a religious person that I’m strong and brave.

I know how resilient I can be.

I know how many battles I’ve fought and won with my head held high.

That’s why I’m wearing this smile with so much confidence.

That’s why I’m boldly saying,” I’m enough” and for the first time in a long time, I’m giving myself a chance to believe it.

That’s why I’m saying,” I’m not a prisoner” and I’m believing it.

That’s why with tears running down my cheeks I’m saying,” I’M A SURVIVOR “

Always have been and always will be…

A SURVIVOR
